My name is Lara Fuller; I am a certified Resilience Coach and N.L.P. Practitioner. I owned a Coaching and Consulting business for six years before deciding to open a non-profit organization.
I have also had the privilege of spending almost twenty years working in a hospital. My experiences as support staff at the hospital have provided me with numerous invaluable lessons on courage, compassion, loss, and humility.
I started Resources for Healing Trauma to raise awareness about Developmental Trauma and A.C.E.s or Adverse Childhood Experiences, and the significant mental and physical health risks associated with not healing from past trauma.
Resources for Healing Trauma focuses on helping communities implement a Trauma-Informed approach to health and wellness and providing individuals and organizations with the resources they need to recover from the past so they can create their best possible future.
Like millions of other people, I have experienced enough toxic stress to be wired differently than other people. As such, I have had to work hard to achieve what comes naturally to “normal” people. However, I was fortunate to have been exposed to numerous teachings on various methods of personal development. Many of these teachings would later facilitate my ability to grow, heal, and find my unique purpose in life.
Although I have endured a lot of adversity, I have no regrets. Instead, my so-called regrets have been valuable life lessons. I would not trade in any of my trouble because it made me who I am today, and for that, I am grateful. I am proud to have the opportunity to serve others and help them find the resources they need to succeed and live their best life possible. I am excited to share what I have learned and to learn so much more from the amazing people I encounter along the way.
